We will study various topics including evangelism, basic apologetics, and discipleship through teaching and small group discussion.
We take time each week at the Southwest Christian High School (Cafeteria, enter through door 1) to hang out, have some fun, eat a meal, and study the Bible. Guest speakers often share what Jesus has done in their lives, and other students speak of what God is doing in them and their schools.

Every fall, there is an amazing weekend of deep connection, engaging worship, and relevant teaching. A fun tradition is a flag football tournament where classes don their colors and compete on the gridiron! You don’t have to be good at football to attend, each team’s cheering section plays a vital role in their class’s success! The winning class claims their trophy and bragging rights for the year. Beyond the football tournament, the weekend is a great setting to meet new friends and to make lifelong memories. New to NXT? This is the perfect opportunity for you to get plugged in!
Let’s face it, winter in Minnesota is COLD! We do our best to beat the winter blues by heading to a camp for some wintertime enjoyment! This retreat is hosted by our senior class, which means they will run games, lead worship, share testimonies, and be the primary speakers for the weekend. You can bet that the weekend will not be one you want to miss out on! Our primary tradition at this retreat is the annual Lip Sync Competition! This is open to anyone who wants to compete, so start putting a group together and rehearsing your choreography, the retreat will be here before you know it!
The Student Ministries Vision is to bring, stir, equip, and send students. Part of our strategy for accomplishing our vision is by offering Foundations for Senior students. Foundations can be broken into three parts: content, involvement, and trips.
