Across the street, we inspire, equip, and engage the Grace family to reach and disciple people in their spheres of influence. Around the world, we reach beyond our culture with the Gospel to make disciples of those who have never heard.

Global Go Teams

Our mission as a church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world. One way we do this is by going boldly outside of our cultural context on a short-term mission trip.

When we commit to go, we surrender our plans to God and say, "Here am I, Lord, send me." We are all called to go, but "Where?" and "How long?" are the questions we must prayerfully consider. We must also consider the cost of time and treasure while remembering the gain of life-changing global impact, an expanded view of God’s love for the world, and an increased desire and ability to share our faith at home.

The CAUSE Strategic Priorities:

The CAUSE is Christ’s commission to each of His followers to GO and take the Gospel to every person throughout the world and to make disciples in all nations. It is a life-giving and life-changing priority: life-giving as we are stretched to leave our comfort zone and grow in faith, and life-changing as we share the Gospel across the street and around the world.

With over 5 billion least reached and unreached people in the world, there is a need for 5 million new churches. The church is God’s primary agent for reaching the world for Christ and making disciples, so it is our priority to partner with, and plant Gospel-centered New Testament churches. Our goal is to multiply church planting movements where the church does not exist. Jesus said, “ . . . I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” (Matthew 16:18).

There are more than 6,800 unreached people groups and more than 3,100 people groups without a missionary. “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age,” (Matthew 28:18-20). His last command is our first concern. We are actively training, supporting, and mobilizing short-term teams and career missionaries to go to the nations, reaching the least, the last, and the lost. “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:14-15).

Of the 7.1 billion people in the World today, more than 4.1 billion are considered unreached with little or no access to the Gospel (Unreached People group, fewer than two percent Evangelical Christians) Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. People are equally lost without Christ, but unequal in their access to the Gospel. Consequently, we make it our top priority to reach them, striving to bring the Gospel to every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. “. . . and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation,” (Romans 15:20).

There are more than 4,000 language groups without a Bible in their own language, no access to the living and active Word of God. We are dedicated to bringing Scripture in written and oral form to the nations by whatever means possible. We will be diligent in prayer for open doors, open hearts, and laborers to share the life transforming Word of God. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ,” (Romans 10:17).

"Ninety-five percent of Christians will go to the grave without leading one person to faith in Christ." - Dr. Bill Bright

“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered, it is a command to be obeyed.” - Hudson Taylor

The Gospel is central to everything we do. The call of all believers is to be unashamed and active in proclaiming it in word and deed, trusting the message and the Holy Spirit to transform lives, families, communities, and nations. Missions and Evangelism strives to equip the Church to share the Gospel clearly and be highly effective ambassadors, disciples making disciples, across the street and around the world. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth," (Acts 1:8).
