POSITION STRUCTURE AND DETAILS
Reports to: Director of Women's Ministry
Location: Eden Prairie
Hours/week: 30 - 32 hours/week
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Women’s Ministry Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the vision, implementation, and promotion of Women’s Ministry.
- Manage Bible study details in the CCB database: events, calendar, groups, online registration forms, and room reservations. Coordinate upload of teaching videos to website and app. Ensure website accuracy.
- Serve as point of contact with Bible Team Managers, administrative volunteers, etc.
- Build Ministry Grid curriculum for Bible study small group leaders, Vimeo link from pastors’ videos, and handouts. Schedule and distribute Ministry Grid assignments.
- Maintain all programming schedules.
- Coordinate all Women’s Ministry event details including branding, assets, promo schedule, website updates, creating and monitoring online registrations.
- Write and submit Women’s Ministry monthly newsletter.
- Manage Women’s Ministry budget.
- Develop reporting and statistical analysis of Women’s Ministry events as needed.
- Edit projects as requested by Director of Women’s Ministry.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
- Educational requirements: Post-high school preferred.
- Experience required: 5 years.
- Knowledge areas: Word, Excel, comfortable with computer-based applications of database, reservation procedures, various platforms through Grace Church, etc.
- Computer applications: Expert
- Communications: Writing, phone
- Management/Leadership Experience: Helpful to have had experience in leading groups in performing specific tasks, organizing projects with several part, maintaining several types of projects at once.
- Strong administrative skills are necessary. Good “people” skills are a must. Must be warm, caring, and responsive to women and their spoken and unspoken needs.
- Flexibility for evenings/weekends.
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Word and prayer as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- Committed to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
- Member of Grace Church, regularly and consistently attending the weekend worship services and participating in the life of the church.
- Demonstrates skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, the congregation, and others, within a team environment.
- Demonstrates a spiritual capacity and heart willingness to view this ministry as unto Christ.
- Upholds Grace Church’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Priorities and Women’s Ministry’s Vision and Mission, and a lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian ministry.
- Committed to Women’s Ministry Bible study.
- Agrees to abide by the staff handbook.
