Last Sunday, Pastor Troy Dobbs announced that after 27 years of working in worship ministry at Grace Church, Pastor Brian Vaughan is transitioning to the new role of Sr. Director of Engagement here at Grace.

“We are so excited for Brian to step into another major leadership role here at Grace,” explained Pastor Troy. “He loves God, he loves people, and he genuinely wants people to love God. He’s going to be perfect for this!”

One of the significant questions that have been asked over the past few years is: How do we help people within the Grace community engage with God and with others?

This new role for Pastor Brian will begin to answer just that. Among his many objectives will be an enhanced focus on getting new people in the door, increasing their level of connection and involvement, and helping guests and regular attenders take the next step in their faith journey.

“God is doing this,” Pastor Brian said. “It’s a clear sense of being called out and called to, and I really feel that. I’m grateful to God for all He’s done and all He’ll continue to do.”
