I have the great privilege of being able to minister to youth (0-18) at Grace Church Chaska.
Family:
I have a twin sister named Danielle and an older brother named Samuel. I also have a 12-year-old Doberman named Jack.
Birthday:
July 21 (It has most of God’s numbers in it: 7, of course, and then 21 which is 3 times 7. Incredible!)
Hobbies:
I enjoy ultimate Frisbee, Russian literature, video games, and planning my future movie theater business.
Faith:
My faith journey started at a small cabin in northern Minnesota. I was four years old, and I remember confessing my sins and asking Jesus to come into my life. But a few hours later I was sad — something to do with not being able to grill outside with my dad. My mom reminded me, as I sobbed by the screen door, that the angels were partying in heaven. But why was I still sad? I thought. So began a faith story that held that tension ever present: the promised hope and the immediate and temporary trouble. From heartbreak to recent family issues, I have seen the pain and sin that the world has to offer, but in the midst of all of it, God’s hope, truth, and faithfulness have shone through. I am confident that this confusion and hurt is temporary and that the Healer of Souls will one day make all right. So I live in the faith of His promises, in the hope of things to come, and in the power of continual cleansing and renewal offered in Jesus’ sanctifying path.
