What to Expect

What is re:generation?

re:generation is a Christ-centered care and discipleship program. By working through 12 biblical steps within an authentic community, individuals will experience a fresh, new life in Christ.

At your first meeting, you will attend the “First-Time Guest” group to learn more about the program. After the first meeting, you will begin “Groundwork,” which is the initial 6-week group.

Once you have completed the Groundwork curriculum, demonstrated a willingness to participate, and decided that you want to move forward, you will be placed into a “Step” group to go through the 12 steps with about eight other participants and two leaders. Participants will progress together, walking through the daily curriculum and sharing during Monday group time.

Who is re:generation for?

re:generation is open to any adult, who is struggling. This is an opportunity to find lasting freedom and healing in Christ from ALL types of personal struggles, including anxiety/depression, pornography, fear, control, substance abuse, codependency, sexual abuse, same-sex attraction, eating disorders/body image, anger, obsessive thoughts, and any other struggle that has you stuck. re:gen is for everyone, no matter where you are in life or on your faith journey.

Note: re:gen for students (grades 9-12) is coming in January 2025!

What is the format?

Our time begins as a large group. Leaders and participants gather together to worship and hear testimonies or a teaching for 30 minutes. The large gathering then breaks into smaller, gender-specific groups for the next hour. First-time guests, Groundwork, and Step groups all meet separately and are divided by gender (men with men and women with women). In total, the gathering lasts about 1.5 hours.

How long does the program take?

The re:generation process takes about ten months. Groundwork, the initial group for all participants, takes 6 -8 weeks, and Step groups take about nine months.

The Groundwork curriculum lessons take about 10 minutes per day, while the Step group curriculum takes about 30 minutes per day. Spending 30 minutes a day with God, for ~10 months, and working on your recovery in the context of the community will change your life.

You will never be the same.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge to attend re:generation. Once you decide to start the curriculum, there is a $14 charge for the Groundwork book. Once you begin a Step Group, there is a $14 charge for each of the four books.

Each book of the Step Group curriculum contains three steps; you do not need to buy all four books at once but can purchase each book as you go. If cost is an issue, please let re:generation leadership know. We don’t want financial strain to keep you from making a decision about re:generation.
