Judges 3:12-30

The Bible describes the rebellion of the Israelites against God as rooted in forgetfulness: “And the people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. They forgot the LORD their God and served the Baals and the Asheroth” (Judges 3:7). We are at times no different than the Israelites who forgot God, and the consequences of forgetfulness are dire. The good news is that while we may forget God, He never forgets us.
