The primary purpose of RFK camps is to give children who are in the foster care system, ages 6-12, an unbelievable five-day summer camp experience that’s full of fun and positive memories. The children are given royal treatment at camp as each child who attends has one Big Buddy assigned to them, and that’s their best friend for the entire camp! For many, this is the best week of the year, and they all hear about who Jesus is and are reminded of His love for each of us. It’s a special time when the children can feel safe and just enjoy being a kid.
Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) is run as a camp under For The Children, with oversight from Grace Church’s Children-at-Risk Ministry. The camp is led by a trained camp director(s), who is a member of Grace Church, and run by a volunteer staff team.
