Go Teams

Our mission as a church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world. One way we do this is by going boldly outside of our cultural context on a short-term mission trip.

When we commit to go, we surrender our plans to God and say, "Here am I, Lord, send me." We are all called to go, but "Where?" and "How long?" are the questions we must prayerfully consider. We must also consider the cost of time and treasure while remembering the gain of life-changing global impact, an expanded view of God’s love for the world, and an increased desire and ability to share our faith at home.

Minnesota (The Refuge)

Go Team

In recent decades God has brought the nations to our doorstep. One-third of the population of Minneapolis is first and second generation immigrants. The metro area has some of the highest populations of Hindu’s, Buddhists and Muslims of anywhere in the United States. We don’t have to go far to “make disciples of all nations.” This Spring, we are offering a local missions trip as a spring break alternative.

While making home base at the Refuge retreat center, we’ll be heading up into the city to minister the diverse population of Minneapolis. The trip will be faith-forming discipleship on steroids with the opportunity to impact the nations around us for Jesus Christ.

For students and young adults.

Dates: March 29 - April 4

The comfort zone is the danger zone.

It’s very easy to sit in the comfort of our homes, American culture, and our Christian cocoon while losing sight of the world Jesus calls us to reach with the good news of the Gospel. Make this the year you join us on one of our Go Teams.
