POSITION STRUCTURE AND DETAILS
Reports to: Director of Grace Kids
Location: Eden Prairie
Hours/week: 40 hours/week
FLSA Classification: Exempt
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grace Kids Creative Arts Manager will partner with the Kids’ Ministry team to design, lead, and oversee the “big room” worship/production elements of our Kids’ Ministry. The manager will recruit, equip, and mobilize volunteers to ensure high-quality worship and production environments while reproducing our Grace Church culture and “style” of worship in a manner that empowers and prepares kids to worship the Lord authentically. Additionally, the manager will provide support and expertise across all of Kids’ Ministry to enhance the creative and fun elements of the ministry in classrooms and other environments. They will be responsible for the following job duties:
- Effectively contribute to, communicate, and champion the vision for Grace Kids ministry.
- Energize ministry through presence during live programming.
- Oversee every creative arts element for Sunday morning, Tuesday morning, and Wednesday night programming. This will include all aspects of large group elementary (e.g., teaching, music, singing, vibe, etc.) and music/singing in early childhood.
- Collaborate with Director, Managers, Associate, Coordinators, Administrative Assistant, and the Production department regarding every aspect of creative arts programming.
- Collaborate with, and contribute to, the vision for NXT Gen ministry.
- Oversee all aspects of Grace Kids social media.
- Oversee all aspects of Grace Kids Sunday choir and collaborate with the Production department regarding choir participation in Auditorium and Chapel programming.
- Identify, develop, and export an annual group of 5th graders ready to contribute and lead in NXT Junior High Creative Arts.
- Contribute to the creative arts elements of VBS through collaboration with Communication and Production departments.
- Network with Grace Church – Chaska and kid’s ministries from other churches.
- Demonstrate a reliance on God through a personal commitment to prayer, study of His Word, and expectation that God will do great things at Grace Kids.
- Collaboration with Grace Kids Staff for department-wide events and programming.
- Assist with church-wide events.
- Other duties as assigned.
SPIRITUAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
- Education preferred (not required): Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience preferred (not required): 5+ years of experience in roles involving the key duties, responsibilities, and expectations of the position.

- Ability to teach, reprove, correct, and train using God’s Word.
