POSITION STRUCTURE AND DETAILS

Reports to: Cafe Manager
Location: Eden Prairie
Hours/week: 16 hours/week
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Hospitality Assistant is a part-time position based on business needs and will work an estimated 16 hours per week (4 hours per day).  The Hospitality Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Clerical office tasks
  • Backing up the Receptionist at the Welcome Desk and Switchboard
  • Customer service ability
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiar with basic software, such as Word and Excel

PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Educational requirements: High School or equivalent
  • Experience required: Office and receptionist experience preferred, training is available
  • Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
  • Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20)
  • Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
