Cover-to-Cover Bible Survey

Cover-to-Cover Bible Survey is the story of God from Genesis to Revelation. It is an intense two-semester, 30-week discipleship journey (15 weeks studying the Old Testament and 15 weeks in the New Testament) where students learn God’s story of redemption through His Son Jesus Christ . . . the Scarlet Thread of Redemption that runs throughout the entire Bible. This life-transforming discipleship class is taught by foremost teacher and scholar, Dr. Harvey Martin, professor emeritus from Univ. of Northwestern – St. Paul. The course can be taken at Diploma or Certificate level. Diploma students can receive college credits at partnering universities. Old and New Testaments do not need to be taken in sequential order. Cost per semester is $149 per person or $249 family maximum for two or more people from the same family. Scholarships are available from Village Schools of the Bible upon request.

New Testament: Tuesdays, Jan 8 – April 16, 2019 | 6:30-8:30 pm | Room 211

Law vs. Grace

What is the law? Can anyone keep the law? Does keeping the commandments make anyone righteous before God? Did Christ keep the law? Did Christ ‘end’ the law? What about the Sabbath? Tithing? Circumcision? If Christians are under grace are we still obligated to keep any of the law? These are the critical questions we will search the Scriptures in this eight-week study to decide this case of law versus grace.

Believing God Women's Study

An in-depth women's Bible study based on Isaiah 43:10 that explores what it means not only "to believe in God" but "to believe Him." The bride of Jesus Christ in our generation is nearly paralyzed by unbelief. God is calling His bride to a fresh and lavish anointing of faith. Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others as examples of persons who believed God, this study encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him.

This 10-week study will include a video and teaching followed by a small group discussion.
